What makes your team unique from other’s in the company?
Product and dev teams naturally work very closely together. You have an important role to fulfill to determine what is built and how it looks. Features are put live quickly with almost daily deploys happening.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Designing very cool interfaces and seeing them launch and the happy customer feedback. Analyzing cutting edge products and seeing how to replicate in our product.
Describe your company culture.
Small, intimate, flat structure. Young, dynamic, smart people. Awesome office vibe and location. Every person makes an impact
What do you hope your interns will get out of this experience?
Ability to spec out new features and improve existing features and see these changes being built and go live in the product while there.
What’s your mini bio?
I was a product manager at PayU – the global payment company for Naspers – where I built the core of the platform. I have been the Chief Product Officer for Magnetic for last five years.
